Many people are addicted to twenty four hour news, and with the creation of certain electronic component, they can download news at any time of the day to keep up with the latest headlines. No longer does a person need to search for a television when they have a portable mp3 player at their fingertips. Finding the right component to ensure that a person can view videos and listen to music at the same time can be tricky and time consuming, however, if a person will just take the time, they can locate the perfect device for their changing needs.
If a person wants to download news, having the right device can make things much easier. Apple has created the ipod mp3 player. Certain variations of this unique device allow a person to not only hear great music, but also to watch selected programs from various companies like Time Warner and NBC. These electronic gadgets are becoming more and more reasonable for all people to own, and one can find a free service if a person just searches the internet for a short time frame. One thing to be aware of is that if a person has an iPod, not all material will be compatible.
Microsoft has also come up with a device that allows people to download news and other items. Their device is called the Zune, and like the iPod, one must have the coordinating software in order for it to work properly. A person can also subscribe to the Zune service that will give them access to various programming including news and music that a person can enjoy on the go.
In order to be able to download news, a person will first have to have the right player. Both Apple and Microsoft offer various players that should be critiqued before buying. The iPod from Apple is 30 GB and costs $249. The Microsoft Zune also has 30 GB and also costs $249. The main difference is the iPod is smaller, and watching the news may be more difficult with the smaller screen.
If a person wants to download news on the go, the technology has arrived to keep up with their busy lives. Ipods and mp3 players have come full circle and now have the ability to show video if a person is willing to spend the extra money and invest in these hip devices. Life for people on the go has become a little less hectic, and the world is slowly becoming a little bit smaller thanks to the invention of video mp3 players.
James Bond Spy Gadgets
With the latest Bond film, Quantum of Solace, being released recently, here are some great spy gadgets that will satisfy anyones spy fantasies. Unfortunately they don’t come cheap.
Land Rover Defender 10 (£67,850) – This car may not look wonderful, however, it could take a punch, or well anything you want to throw at it really. The 4×4 monster has armour plating on all sides aswell as front and rear capable of withstanding 5.56 mm plus 7.62mm bullet rounds. Plus with bullet proof glass as standard you can be sure that you won’t be shot on the school run. If you’re concerned about the odd grenade or mine, fear not, the bottom of the car is grenade and anti personnel mine proof.
Tornado Night Vision Goggles Generation 2 + (£3,162.50) – Although they may be pricey for some goggles, you won’t be walking into lamp posts at night with these things on. These state of the art goggles come with one night vision tube and 2 eye pieces. Also, you can see those things that are further away in the dark by using one of the additional lens that can zoom in. All of this power can run on 2 AA batteries.
Taser C2 (£248) – This one is for non UK residents really as it is illegal in the UK, unless you’re a policeman. The Taser C2 is a non leathal stun gun that gives you time to escape by firing a C2 cartridge at the target which will zap them good. The powerful lithium battery that it comes with can manage up to 50 zaps, plus, the entire gadget can fit in your pocket.
Spy Camera Glasses (£89.99) – Some covert cameras are normal sun glasses, however, these come with a 1.3 mega pixel camera built in. The glasses have 1GB of memory, capable of storing 1000 secret snaps. That’s not all, the glasses also come with a remote control so you can take a photo without even holding the glasses, and also amazingly the glasses have built in earphones so you can listen to your favorite music while getting some secret snaps.
All these gadgets are must haves for any James Bond wannabes. The only drawback is driving around in the Land Rover won’t give you that James Bond feeling, even if you can’t be shot or blown up.
